Music | Cleveland Music Group
For the past two years, we have placed Third in the Cleveland Wedding Music category of the Fox 8 Hot List Contest. Pretty good. But with over 18 bands, 15 DJs, and countless other groups, acts, and musicians as well as over 1,500 happy clients per year, we’re pretty sure we could reach first or second place this time.
It’s so easy to help us reach our goal. Simply click the yellow “Vote” button on our page at the Hot List contest site. You may have to register quickly, but you will not be spammed.
Voting ends November 6 and we will post the results as soon as they are announced. Thank you!
Last month, DJ Scott Jones had the privilege of working a really fun wedding thanks to a creative bride.
Cleveland couple Mary King and her groom Andrew Rothacker, are huge Cavs fans. (No surprise there.) They wanted to do the Cavs’ style grand entrance that is becoming popular at Ohio weddings.
But Mary had a great idea, and went one step further. Not only would her bridal party run in to the reception to Young Jeezy’s “Put On” and Kevin Rudolf’s “Let It Rock,” they would do it while the real, live voice of the Cavs, Ahmaad Crump, announced their names. And, she completely surprised her groom in pulling it off!
“It was amazing and it electrified the entire reception,” said DJ Scott Jones, who was also hired by the smart bride. “Ahmaad was a stellar guest MC and he really helped kick off the party.”
Two years after DJing Travis Hafner’s wedding, Scott was hired to DJ the wedding of Cleveland Indians Batting Coach Derek Shelton and Alison Pucci. The wedding was Nov. 15th at Windows on the River. Here’s Scott with Derek and Alison, and also with Indians Manager, Eric Wedge.

Local brides rated Jerry Bruno Productions as one of the BEST music providers for weddings in both 2007 and 2008.
The Knot Best of Weddings magazine is a coast-to-coast, by-brides-for-brides guide to the top wedding sites, photographers, florists, and more in over 40 key cities across the United States. It is published by The Knot Inc. (www.theknot.com), the #1 wedding website and most trusted wedding resource. The Knot conducted its second annual survey of over 20,000 recent brides to capture detailed feedback on every business that couples hired for their wedding celebration.
Cleveland newlyweds contributed their raves and reviews on the area’s wedding professionals. The newlyweds were asked to rate their vendors on multiple criteria, from creativity to professionalism, and to comment on their experiences. The resulting ratings—and detailed feedback—were aggregated by the editors of The Knot to create this one-of-a-kind publication highlighting the best wedding resources in each region according to local brides. The survey was administered by Harris Interactive.
