For Chris Telzerow, his family and church came first, but as many of us know, he also loved to play golf. Just three weeks before Chris lost his battle to liver cancer, he was on the golf course – thin and yellow, but still gutting it out for 18 holes at Stonewater in Highland Heights. On Tuesday June 30th of this year, we will be honoring that memory and raising money for the Telzerow family with a golf outing in Chris’ name. We hope that all of you will mark the date on your calendars and join us on that date.
The format for the outing will be a scramble, so anyone who even knows how to spell GOLF can come and enjoy themselves. There is also a spot on the form for those who absolutely refuse to play golf or have given it up for lent or something and would just like to join us for lunch.
Those interested in golfing can come as a foursome, or we can find you a foursome. To honor the theme of Chris as the “Piano Man,” we’re asking each foursome to pick a name for their group from those listed on the form. We are hoping for 18 foursomes, so there are currently 18 Piano Man themed group names to choose from.
Stonewater has added a great GPS system to their carts this year, so the foursome names will be displayed on the “leaderboard” that you will be able to access from your cart. The GPS screens on the carts also provide some unique opportunities for Sponsorship Ads. More information on how to be a hole sponsor and/or place an individual ad on the GPS system to come.
