The CMG office is taking part in the Movember Movement by getting hairy. Somehow growing whiskers equates to growing money for cancer research. We aren’t sure how, but we think it’s great. Stop shaving; start fundraising.
According to No-Shave.org, forgoing shaving for 30 days can spark conversation and raise cancer awareness:
The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.
We’ve set up a friendly competition between the three men in the office. The winner, decided by the female half, will have $100 donated in his name to Cancer Research and the losers will buy his lunch.
We encourage you to join in! Visit No-Shave.org and Movember.com for more info, and share your pictures with us! (And ladies, you can participate by not shaving yourselves, OR by getting active and MOVE each day in November.)
