With every other song written as a love song, it’s tough to pick the right one for the first dance at your wedding. You can’t go wrong with any of these faves.
What we’ve seen some couples do: Start with a song from our list of Classic song choices to do the romantic first dance as a couple, then immediately break into a more upbeat song from the Modern list and invite all their guests on the dance floor with them. It’s a nice icebreaker to get people on the dance floor earlier than they planned, loosen everyone up and get the party going! Even if they have to go back to their table to eat dinner first, they’ll be happy and looking forward to getting back on the dance floor quicker!
As with all lists, the choices are subjective so if you don’t see your personal favorite, comment below!
Classics
