Eric Smith is the Vice President of Sales at Cleveland Music Group, where he blends 20 years of relationship management and sales expertise with a lifelong passion for music and people.

He joined the CLE Music Group sales team in 2017 after years of performing as one of the company’s most requested DJs—an experience that shaped his approach to understanding clients, reading the room, and delivering unforgettable experiences. Known for his approachable style, sense of humor, and deep roots in Cleveland’s creative and social communities (@thebeardeddj), Eric brings both strategy and soul to the events industry.

His background spans corporate and startup environments across Northeast Ohio, with a Business Management degree from Mercyhurst University and a proven track record in helping clients navigate big decisions with confidence and ease.

Outside the office, Eric spends his time with his wife and three kids in North Ridgeville, exploring Cleveland’s food scene, watching reality TV, and drinking too much coffee. He also has strong opinions about playlists, podcasts, and proper comma usage.
