Comprised of experienced, professional string players, The Appassionata String Ensembles have been performing in various forms around Greater Cleveland since 1998. They are in demand for good reason – the highest quality performance – both musically and professionally.
These talented musicians boast an impressive collective pedigree, including advanced degrees from the Eastman School of Music, the Juilliard School of Music, the Cleveland Institute of Music, Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and Indiana University’s Conservatory of Music.
Performance experience, however, is what sets the Appassionata String Ensembles apart. The members embrace many musical styles, having performed locally, regionally, and nationally with groups including the Sarasota Opera, the San Francisco Symphony, the San Jose Symphony, Rod Stewart, Roberta Flack, the Tanglewood Orchestra, the Grand Teton Festival, Don Henley, Sarah Brightman, Johnny Mathis, the Akron Symphony, {red} an orchestra, Smokey Robinson, the Cleveland Chamber Symphony, Josh Groban, the Cleveland Opera, and many others.
