Description
Carey Viton has had a multifaceted career for over 30 years. He began performing in high school with several R&B bands. After earning a B.M in Music Composition, he toured the country with various show bands.
Upon returning to Cleveland, Carey began playing in different bands led by the Bruno Brothers. He has extensive experience in many styles of music. Carey has performed with many top names in both Jazz and pop music. In 1975, he performed at the Montreaux Jazz Fest in Switzerland. He also has performed in concert and clinic settings with Ed Shaugnessy, Sonny Stitt, Art Pepper and Lou Marini. His pop music experience includes work with Lou Christie and in the band for the Moondog Coronation Concert. He is a versatile performer who is comfortable with many styles of music and is sure to be a memorable addition to any occasion.
Presently, Carey is the featured keyboardist for TCB and also works as a solo keyboardist.
