Custom Event Uplighting

My daughter’s wedding and reception were held at Cleveland History Center. The ceremony in the gallery was beautiful, enhanced by uplights and the music of harpist Virginia Dickson. Cocktail hour and dinner were accompanied by DJ Eric Smith playing some great jazz. After dinner, guests danced for hours to nonstop music. There was no time during the evening when the dance floor was even close to empty. Such a great experience! Scott Jones was wonderful to work with. I’d use Cleveland Music Group again in a heartbeat.

Scott took care of our Uplighting, we needed some advice and we got it, the room looked perfect!

We used Scott Jones as our wedding DJ, the Sonata Strings for our ceremony music, and Pete Cavano as our cocktail hour entertainment. We absolutely loved all of them!! Cleveland Music Group made sure all musical aspects of our wedding were on point all day long. Scott far exceeded our expectations, he is super friendly and easy to work with. He definitely gave us peace of mind knowing that he has everything under control. I really cannot say enough good things about Scott; my husband and I were just saying we need to have another event just to stay in touch! We used Cleveland Music Group to provide our DJ, ceremony guitarist, and uplighting for the reception area. I have to say, I have been truly impressed with all aspects of this organization from the first contact through to the last minute of our reception. My contact was extremely helpful with guiding me in choosing a DJ and guitarist, and even the website was a great tool to watch videos of the options. They also worked within our limited budget to provide the lighting which really made the ambiance of the entire venue so breathtaking.

In addition, DJ DC went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time and that Dennis and I got everything we wanted out of our special night. Multiple guests came up to me and told me how awesome the music was! Thank you for everything!

I cannot thank Scott and everyone involved in our special day enough. Everyone was so easy to work with and answered questions in a very timely matter. Everybody loved the photobooth! The uplighting added that extra special touch to the ballroom and gallery that just topped our whole vision off. Adding the harpist for our ceremony and cocktail hour brought it to a whole different level of class! DJ Eli was AMAZING!!! He kept us up to date on our timeline, kept the music going along with everyone on the dance floor and was just incredible to work with. The Avenue was the perfect band for our event. Their energy kept the dance floor full all night long. Their music crossed generations and created a fun and celebratory atmosphere. DJ Brian McDonald is awesome. The guests raved about the music. They liked the continuous playing of music, no gaps at all. The coral uplighting that Scott chose for us was on point. It completed the look we were striving for. I would have never thought the lighting would make this much of a difference. I have never seen so many guests dance all night.

I contacted your company shortly before my wedding reception to request information about uplighting. I was in a bit of a panic as I knew from early on that I wanted uplighting for my wedding reception but was not proactive in securing a vendor as my DJ (which I did secure early) provided uplighting also. Shortly before the wedding, and after my walk through at the venue with my DJ, I learned what the DJ’s pricing was for uplighting services. I was not so pleasantly surprised at the DJs pricing for uplighting or the push to sell me 3 times the lights I needed and decided to try and find a more reasonable vendor. I contacted Cleveland Music Group on short notice and was extremely pleased with the services. I received an email response back promptly after my request for information, and the price was much more reasonable. The uplighting was perfect!!! I absolutely love the ambiance it created and the effect it provided in pictures. Thank you for providing such great service on short notice and at a reasonable price. I would recommend your company highly.
