Description
Born and raised in North Olmsted, Scott E. Jones has been involved with music for most of his life. He has owned his own mobile DJ service, worked in the Radio Industry and was a popular Internet Jock for an internet web casting station based out of Cleveland called Clevelandhits.com.
Scott attended Cleveland State University for three years working toward a communications degree from 1996-1999. In the late winter months of 1999 Scott decided to attend a Broadcasting School, The Ohio Center for Broadcasting, to further enhance his knowledge and understanding of the Radio and Television Industry. Having proved a valuable move into the broadcasting field, Scott landed a job working in the promotions department at the former Jammin 92.3 WZJM, now 92.3 Extreme Radio and 93.1 WZAK even before his graduation of O.C.B. During Scott’s employment with the powerful stations he was under the watchful eye of the Program Director, Big Dave Eubanks, and Promotions Director, Dan Shaw. Scott soon became a valuable asset to the duo of top stations in the Cleveland Market. After the switch of radio formats Big Dave and Dan Shaw decided to team up with a veteran sales manager, Mike Hilber, to create what became known as The Hits Network. Soon after the underlying structure of the Hits Network was defined Scott was invited to join this vast growing web casting business.
Throughout all of his advancement into the music industry Scott was also able to own and operate his own Mobile DJ Business, S ‘n’ S Productions, doing approximately 40 weddings, 10 birthday parties and much more including countless shows at local clubs and bars from 1999-2000.
In late 2000 Scott dropped his own Mobile DJ business to join a more established provider. He teamed up with Jerry Bruno to provide the very BEST quality, full-service music in Northeast Ohio by offering Orchestras, Bands, DJs, jazz and string ensembles. A decade and hundreds of successful events later, Scott is now Jerry Bruno Productions’ President and lead DJ.
