Description
Guitarist Scott Schlegel grew up in Cleveland and began playing guitar at age 5. While studying guitar performance at The University of Akron (graduating with honors), Scott won the distinguished Outstanding Undergraduate Guitar Award. He has performed in the ORMACO concert series and private events, concerts at Guzzetta Hall and E.J. Thomas Hall, as well as venues surrounding the college campuses around Northeast Ohio. Scott has played in masterclasses by Jason Vieaux, Benoit Albert, Randall Avers, and Johnnes Müller. His repertoire consists of music from Frescobaldi to Richard Rodney Bennett, while including the great standards such as Bach and Issac Albeniz.
