Wes McCraw is a guitarist and music producer who has enjoyed success as a music producer, audio engineer, guitarist, composer, and sound designer for over three decades. His guitar playing has been described as, “flamboyant,” “smooth,” and “…the truth.”
As a performer, his skills as a guitarist have taken him all over the country and abroad…performing throughout the continental U.S., Jamaica, the
Dominican Republic and even Disney World. Other notable performance venues include the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, House of Blues and live Television and radio. As a producer / engineer he has produced audio content for some heavy hitters in the industry including MTV, PBS Television, Lifetime Movie Network, Hasbro Toys and AmericanGreetings.com.
Incidentally, he also records the voice-overs for the nationally televised General Insurance commercials, worked with Shaquille O’Neil, and performed “the General” jingle.
Wes currently performs close to 200 live show per year with The Travelin’ Johnsons, as well as with The Little Steve-O Duo, and bands Jim Ballard and the Strangs and Yankee Bravo. When he’s not on the road you’ll find him at Creekside Audio Recording studio…a full service residential recording facility he owns and operates.
For years, fans knew Theresa Rose as lead singer of Caliber, one of Cleveland Ohio’s most popular country bands. As a fan favorite & member of Caliber, she opened for more than 20 National touring artists (Trace Adkins, Phil Vassar, Sara Evans, Luke Bryan, Love & Theft, Lauren Alaina to name a few).
Theresa released her first solo CD in 2013, “Hold On” which was a collection of originals that was well received among fans and media. Following her country music release, she continued to write with perfect partner in music and life, world renowned guitarist, Neil Zaza. Together they continue to craft a collection of songs that explore the pop and alt-country rock genres with fresh ideas and sounds.
Currently, Theresa can be seen and heard regularly with Wish You Were Here and The Travelin’ Johnsons. She is also a featured vocalist in Neil Zaza’s One Silent Night and Neil Zaza’s One Dark Night.
She also performs with the Tony Lang Band, Frank Amato’s Cleveland All-Stars, The Wild Angela quartet, The Reflections, a throw-back harmony extravaganza, and Theresa Rose Acoustic shows.
Theresa truly enjoys performing and her fun personality shines through during every show, large or small.
Wes and Teresa from the Travelin’ Johnsons were the perfect addition to our rehearsal dinner. Not only are they super talented musicians, their professional presence and kindness left a permanent impression on every guest. They crafted the ideal acoustic setlist for the event – like Wes said they would – they read the room, felt the vibe, and took care of the rest! So many incredible memories from the night. One to share was when we all finished eating and Wes and Teresa started to play Danny’s Song by Kenny Loggins. Suddenly, every table was unexpectedly singing along, holding hands, enjoying the moment. Sounds simple, but was so pure and beautiful. And all thanks to the Travelin’ Johnsons. AKA set the perfect Rock and Roll atmosphere we were looking for without being a ‘dance band.’ They have an amazing breadth of songs – and the pipes on these guys – WOW. It exceeded my expectations.

They were wonderful! We enjoyed them very much and their music appeals to an audience of all ages. The Travlin’ Johnsons not only harmonize beautifully together, they are amazing musicians. They both play the guitar and at the same time, they are playing percussion instruments with their feet. It is amazing! Everyone in the Fox 8 studio was tapping their feet. I would have them back anytime.
