We had Tricky Dick play for my daughter’s tented wedding. They absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the introductions to wrapping up the party they exuded professionalism and high energy. Our dance floor was packed from the time they started till we shut down the party. The band attracted all age groups and was super engaged with the bridal couple and their guests. I don’t know how four guys produced such a multi-dimensional sound. The light show added a wow factor to our clear span tent. Highly recommend Tricky Dick for your event!
We hired Tricky Dick & the Cover Ups for our wedding and they were absolute perfection! Tony (the lead singer) was our MC and he did a fantastic job keeping everything on schedule and hyping up the guests. The set list was amazing. They started off playing the oldies to get the older crowd dancing and moved into more current stuff as the night went on. The best/most impressive thing about Tricky Dick is their transitions into new songs. You literally cannot sit down because they seamlessly transition right into the next song and all you want to do is dance. Everyone at the wedding & after kept commenting about how amazing the band was and how impressed they were by them. If you’re thinking about getting a band for your wedding I cannot recommend Tricky Dick enough. They literally take your wedding to the next level and are worth every single penny.
From the moment the moment we talked to Tricky Dick & the Coverups they were extremely kind, helpful & responsive. They went through every single detail you could ever need prior to the wedding which put our minds at ease. When we got to the reception, they handled everything for us prior to even playing. Once they started playing everyone was out on the dance floor having an amazing time. They are so incredibly talented & honestly exceeded our expectations. I can’t say enough about how glad we are to have hired them for our wedding. We are still getting compliments from our guests. We are definitely fans now & are looking forward to seeing where we can watch them perform again!
Having Tricky Dick play at our wedding was the best decision we made! They created such a fun atmosphere, the dance floor was never empty, and they took the time to hear what my husband and I wanted out of the day. We have no complaints and I would recommend them to anyone!
To say that we were thrilled with Tricky Dick, would be an understatement. They were complete professionals from the moment we inquired, through the planning, and during the reception. Tony took the time to even meet with the Bride and Groom during the weeks prior to their wedding so he could get to know them as a couple. We have ridiculously large families, and had a very large reception. Somehow the band managed to keep everyone happy from the ages of 4 to 94. They even provided little light up rings and necklaces as well as blow up guitars for the children. The dance floor was never empty, which was phenomenal. I really believe that receptions need only three elements to be a success- food, beverages, and great music. The fact that so many of our guests told us that they had more fun at this wedding than others they’ve have attended is directly attributed to this great band – Tricky Dick! Thank you for everything!
These guys don’t need any additional positive reviews, as I’m pretty sure they are already booked every weekend through 2019. Yes, they are that freaking good. However, I feel compelled to tell our experience with Tricky Dick & The Cover Ups. Not only do these guys completely rock it out on the stage, but they are as classy and professional as they are rockers. From the very first communication with these guys, I was nothing short of impressed with the responsiveness and guidance they provided me and my wife throughout the wedding planning process. I mean, these guys have a range that is completely unheard of. Not every day do you get to see a band that can play Boogie Shoes all the way to Shut Up and Dance. I had people high-fiving me at my wedding saying they have never had so much fun dancing and singing along at a reception. To take it a step further, Tony Howard is an absolute phenomenal MC and basically ran our entire wedding post ceremony. Oh and by the way, we were married in a vineyard and had no idea how to get sound for our officiant. At the last minute Tony figured it out for us and the ceremony went on without a hitch. Overall, these guys are just awesome and the music was fantastic. If you want your wedding to be remembered forever, you should probably hire these guys. Thank you guys again for making our wedding day so special.
