Dennis DeSapri – Accordion

In the 1950s, Cleveland, Ohio had more accordion players than bricklayers. The east side neighborhoods were thick with European heritage, and music was a big part of it. Radio & TV filled the air waves with songs that contained elements of this tradition. When Mrs. DeSapri saw her first son using a cheese grater to imitate the great Dick Contino, an accomplished and popular accordionist of the time, they realized music lessons would be in order. And so began the musical career of one Dennis Lino DeSapri.

Wes’s credits include song writing, audio production, and sound effect design for Hasbro Toys, American Greetings, Learning Horizons, Sesame Street, America Online, Yahoo.com, and Little Tikes Toy Company. He also composed and performed music for the PBS educational series “Study Jam,” and produced sound tracks for the hit MTV series “Undressed.”

Nate Jones – Guitar and Vocals

Nate Jones is a young singer/songwriter who carves his folky, soulful sound from the same bedrock as Paul Simon, James Taylor, and Stephen Stills. Jones is a troubadour in the old-school tradition. A Cleveland native, he launched his music career while attending college in New Orleans. The town left its swampy mark on Jones, who became a regular performer at venues like Tipitina’s and Howlin’ Wolf Club, where he spiked his coffeehouse folk songs with soulful vocal melodies and intricate, funky fretwork on the acoustic guitar.
