DJ Smoov – A Master of His Craft

DJ Smoov was hands down one of the best additions to our wedding day! When we first set out in search for a DJ, we wanted someone who would let the music do the work – DJ Smoov delivered on that promise, and then some! He was concise on the mic and masterful on the table. We never in a million years would have expected guests of all age ranges to come up to us during our wedding and comment on how great our DJ was, but that is exactly what happened. He listened to the style of music we wanted to play, then used his expertise to set the tone for the night.

For an unbiased perspective, our wedding videographer is from Dayton and travels all around the world doing weddings, he made a point to come up to us during the wedding and tell us how hard DJ Smoov was working up there mixing live – And how he had never seen a wedding DJ mix the way Smoov was non-stop all night long. He loved him! That’s saying something! Oh – And he made a SWEET video after the wedding and posted it on social media. Just another reason why Smoov is the best! Thanks again for everything you did to make our night amazing!

Family and friends can’t stop talking about the DJ!

Herby (DJ Smoov) was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was professional, kind, and patient, and really helped us design the music for the wedding. My husband and I originally chose DJ Smoov because we like dance music (EDM), but we also needed his help with the ceremony, cocktail and dinner hours. That meant we got to enjoy a full range of genres throughout the evening: classical, soul, rock, oldies, EDM, hip-hop, top 40, and even some obscure French and Irish music we requested for our families! The DJ was one of our top priorities for the evening, and DJ Smoov was, as my dad said, “a home run.” He was spinning classics early and then threw the best dance party my family has ever seen. My sister was so sore from dancing that she couldn’t walk for 2 days…but she said it was definitely worth it!

Danced the night away!

Herby was a fantastic DJ. He helped orchestrate our event exactly as we had planned, and pumped up the energy of our guests. He introduced our wedding party perfectly, played songs exactly from the genres we requested, and kept the dance floor FULL all night long. Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding.
